Stir Fried Basil with Pork – Pad Krapow Moo Thai Food

My favourite Thai Food.

Pad Krapow Moo is my favorite Thai dish. In this episode i am ordering my Stir Fried Basil with Pork from the Thai food court at Central Festival Shopping Mall on Beach Road in Pattaya Thailand.

Pad Krapow is one of the most popular Thai street and market foods in Thailand. It is cooked using oil, garlic, chilli, pork mince, oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar and of course Thai Basil. You can also make Pad Krapow with chicken or beef.

The Thai holy basil used for cooking in this Stir fried Basil & Pork is unlike regular basil that you might be custom to. Thai basil has a really beautiful peppery licorice like smell and flavour that really complements the other ingredients.

If you like Stir Fried Basil and would like to try the best one in Pattaya (IMO) visit Secrets Bar on Soi 14, Walking Street and for the 2nd best try Boat bakery on 2nd Road.

The signature dish of Dead Farang is of course Pad Krapow Pork. I will upload a video in the near future of Dead Farang’s homemade “Paddy Kap” recipe for all you to make yourself at home.

Thanks for watching, give it a huuuuge thumbs up!
